Officer looks to be wearing a militaristic thigh rig for his "rights denier"....simply more JBthuggary encroaching into law enforcement. Just because he was the prime suspect in their murder investigation should not have given them carte blanche do declare "open season" on him simply because he chose to exercise his RKBA with a faux freedom keeper. They should have held his hand, talked things out, and called Ron Paul or someone from the "INGO brain trust" for advice. Spokane PD will be sued millions!

Spokane police have actually stated that it was in fact a gun.

Also the neighbor said that the suspect had shown him a "black semi-automatic handgun" and told him he owned blanks for it, so if he heard shooting not to worry.
