WTB: Free or Dirt Cheap Manual Transmission Riding Mower in Southern Indiana (parts)

Something like a Craftsman 6 speed with reverse. All I am really looking for in this is a good transmission and rear end. A working motor and good frame would be a bonus, but everything else will most likely get scraped. I will come pick it up in a to be determined radius from Jackson County. Thanks for looking!

Ever make it up to Noblesville? Im right off I 69 so about 1hr 15min from SR50 and I65. I have an old JD 130 collecting rust and dust that ran just great when parked 2 years ago. I'd trade for a box or 2 of ammo(factory), reloading stuff in 9mm, 40sw, 44mag. or powders for those, firewood-split or not-don't care, or just $40 cash which I value the motor at. Will help load-its light. No deck but sounds like you don't care. I used it to pull small firewood cart. I got an atv and now it just sits.
