CB45 / Chad does a great job of walking the line between "challenging" & "demoralizing" each match. Knowing how I've had trouble with Stage designs at my club's Steel Valley match, I appreciate & respect what he does even more! Trying to find a balance between all the different types & level of shooters and keeping it interesting for more experienced shooters isn't as easy as it seems.

This match was more challenging than I'm accustomed from FNS as a whole. One or two that make you think is the "norm" & I've been around a little over a year. I'm the first to tell you that if you have a rough match then it gives you an idea for what you should consider working into your practice. Transition stages are a favorite of CB45, so expect to see them. Because of this, he helped me see a new area of training.

I'm not saying that FNS or another shooting sport is an opportunity for training, but they can be used as a way to find holes in your current training. Just my opinion...

Found some holes in my game last night! Not my best effort. Can't blame it on the guns. Both ran 100%, not so much for the shooter....

Please don't tame the stages. That was a very enjoyable FNS. Great job to all who put it together.

I agree as well. The only thing I ask is no 1 handed weak hand shooting :) j/k

Thanks everyone who came out to shoot. Thanks to the guys that came early to help with set up. The ROs did a great job keeping the match safe and moving smoothly. Once again Craig T did an outstanding job with the scores.

Stages were great! I took a drubbing on Stage 1 because we originally scored it that the plates had to fall and my GSG1911 just wouldn't knock them down, but even after taking a 30 on the first string from that I still had a great time!

Enjoyed the challenge on the stages. There's nothing wrong with stages that require speed and accuracy.
I thought FNS was getting too predictable. I was consistently shooting in the low 80's with 22 pistol. So I got out the wheel gun or single stack, to change things up. This works too.

I thought the stages were great. Thanks to Don, Chad and all involved. If I can gt my M&P to extract spent brass I might be able to score a little better.....What was it Marcel said? About five bucks for a new extractor? And gives me that wtf look...I get it.
