I've not shot a steel match before. How much ammo should I bring? It appears to run much like USPSA, but are there any other safety rules special to a match of this type? Looking forward to trying it, but don't want to screw anything up...
The very nice range safety officer will go over the rules and procedures.

The safety briefing covers everything. Main rules: don't touch your gun and always keep it unloaded and holstered/bagged until the RO tells you otherwise.

My group was a big CZ love fest. I shot like garbage to start with then brought it up to "average" by the end. Maybe I should shoot more than once every 6 months or so.

Tonight was my first time. I didn't DQ and I hit some steel, so I'm really happy! You guys put on a good, fun show! I got to shoot first in my group, kind of took the pressure off, no time to think about it, just step up and shoot some steel!

Really good fun and I'll definitely be back!

I know I didn't win anything, but I'm still really anxious to see my time!!

Great accuracy with a revolver - you made every shot count. Good shooting.
