Those were the primitive days, the dark ages. Lube and cleaner has came a long way.

True, but he has a point in that firearms have run fine for decades without the need for stuff like Froglube. I think the two of you are both on the same side of the issue.

A $7 quart of Mobil 1 will last you a long time. Mix it with a $7 quart of Mobil 1 ATF and you can use it as a cleaner too.

I found the frog line solvent equally useless
brakleen works well for removal
anybody want a froglube kit to screw up their guns?
