    Not enough of the big old bullfrogs left here in southren madison county. I think the pesticides may have had a negitive effect on what was a wonderfull summer tradition in the family.

    In my youth the sound of the bull would keep you up all night. I do hear one in the neighbors pond but that is it.

    No frogs here....but it is also turtle season. Don't catch them for food but my son (9) loves going turtle hunting. We keep them in a huge kiddy pool for a few weeks then let them go. We catch about 5 an outing.

    Lots of fun and great outdoor time with the kid...and it just like hunting (stealth, awareness, tactics, etc.)
