Front sight size on Rossi 92

I recently bought a Rossi 92. Regular iron sights suck with my old eyes. I bought a peep, the one on right, MARBLE ARMS : BULLSEYE REAR SIGHT - World's Largest Supplier of Firearm Accessories, Gun Parts and Gunsmithing Tools but have to chamge the front sight as it shoots high. It is a 100 yard gun at best, do I want a 1/16 or 3/32 post on the front sight? I am going with a gold bead unless someone tells me different. Thanks

Ok, I found this article, GunTech : A Sight For Old Eyes - World's Largest Supplier of Firearm Accessories, Gun Parts and Gunsmithing Tools think I am going to go with a orange fiber optic. My only concern is a fiber optic sight on one of our muzzle loaders seemed to break awfully easy. Thanks to those who looked here.

i have HI-VIZ front sight on my MKIII'S.....i can't see s%$T up close anymore either...i have a 92 too.....i'll have to look into them...btw there a lot tougher than they look...

The big problem is going to be finding one that'll accommodate the way-oversized dovetail cut on Rossis. The "standard" dovetail size is a nominal 0.375", and the ones on my Rossi M62's and full-sized M92 average 0.387". Good luck
