So, while Moms Demand blocks and deletes any posts that are not in lock step with them, apparently Everytown does not. Found a few gems there today..

    Enjoy..

*NRA buy more guns. Hope their kids are next!
*Until it is their child nothing will get done, Congress is deep in the NRA pocket book.
*I truly don't think they'd do anything even if it was their child!
*Why do you think they do nothing? They're hoping their kids will get caught in a crossfire and they won't have to worry about paying for college, or cars, or any of that stuff.
*I knew it. NRA advocates are just looking for an excuse to kill people. Do us all a favor and blow your brains out- what little yo have.
*Yes. Especially when you live in a state that has "Stand Your Ground." It is a license to shoot someone. Self defense is one thing, but Stand by Your Ground is quite another.

All of them are misinformed idiots! It's amazing what they come up with when they have no real valid talking points.

Yep. No surprises here. These people project their fears and wants on others.

No doubt. I got into a FB debate with an anti over the Stanford study that reported that an increase in right to carry laws = 8% increase in gun violence... But here is the kicker... the study authors admit that due to various factors, there is only a 10% confidence factor that they are correct. But they ran with it anyway even though there is a 90% chance they are dead wrong.

After much hemming and hawing, name calling, dodging my direct questions, etc, the anti finally spewed something to the effect of "I accept the 10% because I WANT to believe they are right."

That was 3 days ago... and of course I inserted the recent CDC results into the discussion that they find absolutely no correlation between relaxing gun laws and increases in violence yesterday and over 24 hours later he has yet to respond to my comment. Game, set, match. :rockwoot:

It absolutely boggles the mind that there are people that actually believe this drivel, and it scares me at the same time. Even my 12-year-old son can cite better information than this!

My thought is that they don't want to live in the real world, so they make up their own world to better suit their desires and bring their children up in these fantasy worlds. And that is where we get these people that prefer to believe make-believe than hard facts. And that could explain why they want all these feel good laws as well now that I think about it.

Not worth much, but it's my :twocents:

The only time guns are OK is when 1 drunken hunter shoots another drunken hunter as the deer stands in the brush laughing.

Pretty violent for an anti-violence group... :stickpoke:

    They're not anti-violence, they're anti-gun.
They would happily see every gun owner killed, except themselves and the armed guards who protect them because they're, you know, the "good" people who are progressive and will be in charge after the socialist take-over.

I have little patience for debates on FB. Most participants, in the face of any sort of natural disaster/emergency, turn their #1 priority into finding a cell phone charger.
