    Hey ingo,

Been doing some looking and fusion offers a fitted slide/frame/barrel kit that is a gi replica.

What kind of money does it take to get one of these kits up and running not including a finish? Using barstock parts...no mim.
Maybe a cut to lower the ejection port.

All this talk about production vs semi custom has me wondering.

    Please and thank you
    God bless

PM AllenM. He has built a few of the Fusion kits. They seem to be good quality... But I believe the price has gone up to reflect their popularity.

I have done about 7 Fusion Kits. They are an excellent base to start with. Only thing is I would use other small parts as I have had to many issues with Fusion components. But I strong endorse their frame slide and barrel kits.

For a GI mil spec build cost depends on the quality of parts you use. probably about $450.00 ish of the top of my head. You will need to factor in refinishing or Parkerizing too. but the nice thing iss the hard work is done. There will be some finish work to do but nothing you can't do by hand
