No, they are out shed hunting in UTVs. I've seen that face before on other cameras of a shed hunting trespasser last year.

Do they happen to enter and leave your property at or around the same spot every time? There may be deterrents one could concoct to influence them to seek other property to trespass on.

This is their first time in a UTV, the others were on foot. I had a similar problem further west with another neighbor and ended up putting a barbed wire fence up to block his access on his ATV. That problem resolved itself though, he died in a trailer fire the following year.

Aren't honorable people at work at 10am on a Thursday?

you are making the assumption that this guy actually works, but then again there are companies that require people to take their days off during the week so they can work weekends. The good thing here is he has a picture of the UTV and the guy driving it.

I'm assuming he does NOT work. I would go so far as to assume the government provides him with the means to survive, whatever that may be.

I do hate trespassers and thieves; individually...together even more so. I hope the Sheriff is able to get them on both counts.

Traps, while cathartic I believe come with their own issues, even is someone is trespassing when they fall into them.

Further tracking today placed the entry at the radio tower easement from the highway, an old problem.

A couple years back a friend of mine lost two or three cameras in one State Fish & Wildlife Area that he was hunting. This may sound too simple to work but he made labels with the words "DNR Property, GPS Tracking Installed". It seemed to cure the problem for the rest of the season. Sounded good to me so I made some similar labels. So far I haven't lost any.

While driving around the property the other day I came across a fresh pile of corn and low and behold a trail cam a few yards away. Who does this now? Trespassing shed hunters checking to see if they've dropped them? I checked the SD card but no faces. The camera was just set up last Sunday. If they're wanting to poach then why do you need a camera? I removed the cheap camera, stapled a no trespassing sign on the tree, then put the camera back with a note telling them if I find evidence again I'll contact my CO. Didn't want the camera or want to start a pissing match with whoever. I don't want my stuff stolen in retaliation. Weird this time of year.
