You do realize there are alot of good people in the miller section of gary right?

Yes, there are good people still in Gary. It's the fact that there isn't a reason to go up there. There is no commercial pull. There are 3 things in Gary anyone outside of it would bother going to. Railcats game, airport, and beach. Railcats game you drive in or take the train for the game, then get the hell outta there. The airport is only doing personal jets since no commercial flights wanna fly there. And the beach is a seasonal thing where there are state parks that get most of the business. There are a couple smaller beach accesses, but there is very little parking. With the lack of commercial business, it's basically a closed city. All we hear about are the killings and drugs coming from Gary. Nobody from outside has a reason to go there to see how it actually is.
