    Anyone else have an problem of buying a lot of gear after season ends? With all the sales its hard not too. For example;

    -New waders
    -1 doz. Dakota mallard floaters
-1/2 doz higdon wood duck floaters
-4 packs Hardcore full body rester mallards
    -2 mallard feeder butts
    -2 mallard skimmers
    -2 black duck/hybrid skimmers
-2 doz rig 'em right anchor systems

I haven't even bought a new heavy jacket, Patternmaster choke, motorized mojo mallard or anything for turkey and deer season.

    I have a problem....

I don't buy ANYTHING during season unless i run out of scent killer spray. I always wait until the clearance sales then put everything away. It's just like christmas when I get my hunting totes out before season and see what new stuff i forgot i bought. I don't think I've ever payed retail for hunting clothes.

I buy a ton of stuff after season's goes out. I always do pretty good on ArcheryTalk.com too. Those guys sale nearly new Camo and Hunting clothes really cheap! I have a closet full of hunting clothes for deer and turkey season, all like new. I can match the leaves as they change LOL!

    There you are.
I have bought after season for years, although sometimes I tend to buy things I would not ordinarily buy when full price. Damn. (Too much stuff).

Anyway; that probably accounts for all the things I have that I do not need. I have actually been thinning things out and getting back to basics. Its hard to pass up some of the after season prices though.

I got some killer deals on snow camo (I hunt coyotes) and it was awesome!! I think they were 75-80% off.
I bought an extra jacket since they were $12.

After season is the way to go.

(THis was 2 yrs ago at our local Dick's and Mc sports)

I always buy after season unless emergency, our son tore out the zipper on his insulated coveralls and no place to get fixed anymore so had to get him a quick pair this past season. Otherwise "out of season" for best deals.
