    Why not make your own? May get lucky at Lowes or home depot and find the last bit of a spool they may let go for a discount.

    The SO cable they have is not the same as that cord. Unless I have missed something in the stacks.
    By the time you get all the bits and spend your time it is near a wash monetarily. JMHO of course.

    yea I thought the same thing until I looked at the price of the ends and then buying cable that was comparable to the extension cord. price was almost the same so I figured whynot buy one brand new and already sealed up. im leaning more toward just buying a name brand and not having to worry about the longer cord being a piece of crap. guess its the same as gun parts. buy once and cry once.
