Local Walmart is restricting ammo purchases to three boxes per person

Gander Mountain in Merrillville has a fairly decent selection of 9mm, 40, and 45. Not just cheap stuff.

Greenwood walmart(by gander mountain) just received a large shipment of Tulammo .223. 3 box limit-get 'em while you can. This was about 2 hours ago-sorry couldn't get to computer till now.

The guy at my nearest WalMart told me that we can't rely on the website as it it not at all accurate. He has customers physically waiting on him to bring the ammo out onto the floor Monday thru Saturday (no truck on Sundays). I have also fallen victim to the "in stock" status on the WalMart website.

While at another WalMart the sales guy refused to "hold" a gun for a phone caller. An in store customer asked the sales guy what the caller had called about and then bought it on the spot. The day I was there, the sales guy limited boxes of ammo to two. I asked for three since he had a brand new case. He refused and said a guy was just there asking to buy the whole case.

At least they are making it somewhat fair for everyone.

Oddly enough, I received the email that it was in stock but the website still said out of stock. When I called this morning the guy in sporting goods said they did in fact get the shipment and stocked it over night. The email sign up might be a more reliable source.

Just not the cheap stuff for the most part. Most 12 gauge boxes are $8 each for target on average. The TH east Walmart had some 5.87 target boxes but not a lot. They also have not had many 100 round shell boxes (4x25 boxes) for a while).

Shelbyville WalMart has Tula 223, limit 3 boxes.
Approximately 25 boxes left around 1:30 pm.
They also had 2 boxes of Tula 9mm.

I just picked up my allotment of .223 at Walmart in Richmond.
3 20rnd boxes of Tula 55gr @ $5.27 each.
They have a 5 boxes left.

Beech Grove and Greenwood have squat, North Keystone had a lot of 22-250 40 some 9 and 7mm no 22 or 223
