I wonder if anyone has experience with this. My wife has a sketchy past. couple misdemeanors and some psych issues as a minor. Does she have to list her time in the psych ward as a minor and as long as she does not have a felony she should be fine right? :dunno:

As long as the Misdemeanors are non violent such as Domestic violence etc.

As for Psych when she was a minor, some say don't list it... Some say do list it, but explain it was when she was a minor. It pretty much depends on what psych problem she was having....

Isn't the juvie stuff sealed anyway? I wouldn't list it.

Unless it is court ordered adult stuff is too.

List it all. Be prepared to contest a denied, but I have yet to hear of an instance where the state denied a proper person and would not issue after an appeal. With that much history, they will ask some major questions after a defense situation. A clean shoot is a clean shoot, but do you really want to go bankrupt in the process?

Does anyone know if you have criminal conversion charges, could you still able to get a license?

It all depends on whether it was a misdemeanor or a Felony. Criminal conversion has been seen with both, sometimes, depending on the item(s) in question, it can get bumped up to the D/C felony level. I was initially denied when I applied, because I admitted to having seizures when I was a kid. They denied, I appealed and showed them that I had been incident free since I was ten, and off meds since I was 11. Shortly after I got a letter and my license.
