getting excited again

so i went hunting two years ago. didnt get any deer, but saw a good buck and had a great time...

wasnt planning on hunting this year til a few days ago when i got myself a new shotgun...

now im all gung ho again. i am planning on going back to the spot i was two years ago, but i havnt been out in the woods at all (geez i know)

my spot is down in brown county...if that doesnt work out in my two day time period, does anyone know of any places close to indy where i could try my luck? any where closer to indy than my current spot would be good

Have you tried the pubic hunting ground at Raccoon Lake? I do somesome bow hunting there and was told it not real crowded during gun season either.
