Glock or XD? Which one is better?

For some reason, I can't read the posts in this thread without them sounding like that XD/Glock youtube computer-generated video.

WOW--this thread was started in November of 2010 and it is still going!! I own an XD but I would be just as happy with a Glock, I'm sure.
Look, what's really important is that both deliver a pretty powerful projectile to a bad guy target. Why not just shoot some BA with both guns and ask him which he prefers? sheeesh!

If you want a gun that is going to go bang when you pull the trigger get the Glock.
