Hey i will be in Indy this weekend and have not had a chance to visit any shops there. Would anyone mind pointing me in the right direction? Ill be on the NW side of town and would like to pick up a new flat top upper and some bulk ammo. (45 & 223)

I personally like Beechgrove Firearms, Bradis and Plainfield Shooting Supplies. You can always stop at Dons Guns for comic value.

ETA: Those shops are a little bit of a drive from the NW side but still worth it.

I would skip Fort Liberty in Avon and Tactical Supplies in Mooresville. Not very friendly places.
Bradis has decent prices on ammo and parts. Plainfield is okay as well.

There is a gun show at the Stout Field Armory Saturday and Sunday. Gates open at 8 am and entry is $6 with free parking and coffee. Bring cash though as a lot of them don't take cards.

I'm going to be in Indy this weekend too bc I'm going with my wife who has a conference at the convention center. Is there anything in the downtown area?

Premier Arms in Brownsbnurg is worth a look also. Premier, Plainfield Shooting Supplies and Bradis are in different parts of town but are all linked together by the Ronald Reagan Expressway so travel in between them is pretty quick with minimal traffic signals. All have good prices and selections.

    Best Prices
    1.Indy Tactical Supply in Mooresville
    2.Plainfield Shooting Supplies
    3. Bradis Guns off 67/Kentucky Ave

Best Selection.....the exact opposite of the previous list
    1. Bradis Guns
    2. Plainfield Shooting Supplies
    3. Indy Tactical Supplies

All are EXCELLENT in customer service, but realistically for ammo you can generally buy at the gun show or online for cheaper than even these stores offer. I never buy in bulk at local shops, too much $$
