Gold / Silver , Trade / Barter

To all the folks out there buying PM's , what do you / would you expect to get in trade for an ounce of gold / silver ?

An ounce of gold for X amount of bullets ?

X many pounds of wheat / flour or whatever for an ounce of PM's .

pretty good question. i bought PMs before i really started prepping. I read something the other day about how they'll all be useless until after civilization gets closer to normal post-collapse. who knows how long that will be though.

so it will ultimately be good to have them, but not a good thing to spend a lot of federal reserve notes on unless you're already prepped on all other levels. Not sure how to assign value to them after this all happens.
