When building these "toys" (spudguns), always sleeve the breech/chamber section with the cut off leg of blue jeans. this will contain shrapnel and defeat the compression wave to a great extent. Secure the jeans tight at the breech and leave the other end open..... in case of rupture the blast is directed forward and out the open end, away from the operator or crew.

That is a great idea but.......The possibility of another Unscheduled high speed disassembly of hand held PVC parts with combustible fluids is WAY off my list of things to do after that first one.

Sorry for the late update, I ordered the launcher from a retailer from Ohio paid more in shipping than the cost the the launcher. The event went off without hitch and a lot of fun!

Blackthorn golf club, it was for a charity golf outing. I have since been approached by two other charities wanting to do the same thing at their outings. I was having such a good time I forgot to get video. I have been told it you break even for a 1st golf outing it's pretty good well we blew the doors off break even.
