Maytag top load washer, the last of the "good ones". I bought it new 20 years ago and the only thing it's needed was the pump a few years ago. Immaculate condition and clean, aside from the loud "hum" while on spin cycle. I put in a new thrust bearing and belt, tried a new pump but the noise is still there. It's likely the transmission (no longer available). Could last two weeks or two years. The noise started last week, I did two loads of laundry just fine yesterday, but went ahead and replaced it while we had a free evening to run to Menards.
