Good front hand grip for ak

My dad is wanting a good front hand pistol grip for his AK. He already has his new front stock with rail on it to mount it, but he wants a quality grip. Im not real up on these, whats a good affordable brand he should look at?

afg's work great on ak's or any of the stubby grips i just prefer the afg on all my guns

Its solid, well made comes with side rails as well, proper, not like some Utg, AR type mess.

^ Good option. I also really like the Romanian "dong" forearms. Cheap, and the mags clear it easily when your rocking them in. I've got an extra I could sell cheap if you'd like to try one out. Here's mine on my SAR-1:

I like mine, but these won't fit on a now Polish rifle without modification to the top. It's a different latching mechanism.

After reading this, what you really want is advice on a generic rail mount pistol grip. Not an AK specific grip and cover.

I just switched to one with a light built in, but had this polymer one in the picture on it recently. It was like $14 from Amazon and worked just fine.
