The article must have been updated... No shooter was identified. The guy climbing through the window was the driver for the newly perforated thug. Also doesn't mention anybody having a weapon except for the unidentified shooter.
Sounds like a bad shoot. Maybe one he could get away with but that seems like a stretch.

Notice the fake news slant in the headline? It should say: "Would be armed robber foiled by lawful armed citizen" but instead the headline leads one to believe it's just another shooting.

As with the "news", as well as just political rhetoric, it`s all in how the subject is framed. Amazing how many cannot think for themselves and accept any spin at all as truth.

Sorry, it was a good guy story last night @1100 hrs. Today, not so much.......

No worries, there are a lot of stories out there of a good guy with a gun, stopping a bad guy with a gun. Sometimes the good guy is a LEO, other times, the good guy is just a citizen defending himself.

From an eye Witness, the perpetrator was running for the getaway car, " Victim" Doubble Tapped him in the back. Getaway driver scrammed at that point. I don't think Stand Your Ground will help the "Victim".

Wondering if this was a felony and maybe he was stopping the commission of a felony? Might be his only defense.

We need to take up a collection for this poor, misbegotten man's medical bills.
He was just out trying to make a living.

This situation could have been a "good shoot" if the robbery victim gave chase and thought that the robber was going for a gun to stop him. Now, it probably didn't happen exactly that way, but that's probably the angle the lawyers will take in defense. (If the victim hasn't talked too much already.)
