Good Uberti combination

Exercised this combo today, both chambered in 45 Colt, shooting 255 grain cast lead over 8 grains Unique. These are the Uberti versions of the Winchester 1866 and Remington 1875. Loading 15 in the rifle and 5 in the revolver made for an entertaining afternoon before the rain. Accurate, reliable and attractive, there's really nothing but good to say.

I have a Uberti 66 in 38 Special. It was fine when I got it, but now I wish it was a 357 or 44.

Very nice leadeye...At one time I had an Unberti 1866 in 45 long colt (that I had "aged") and two 1858 Remington's with 45 long colt conversions...


I miss them...I truly do....

Bring them to Paradise Pass in Aetne Green. Use them like they should be. Four gun! Then get a sharps and run it out to 300 yards on a full size steel buffalo. Love the old guns!
