I apologize for what may seem like some shameless self promotion... But tonight at 11pm on WISH will be the last newscast for Debby Knox after 33 years in your living room.

She's one of the most genuine and compassionate people you'd ever met. But also competitive and downright fierce. An amazing journalist, and Hoosier... who's helped tell stories that have shaped Indiana for decades.

    Goodbye to Debby Knox

man I wish I would've known this so I could've told my wife.
I remember Mike Ahern's last newscast. I walked in the living room and my wife was crying.
    ..I was like "wha?".
It was Debbie Knox and Mike Ahern emotionally saying goodbye to each other.
I remember them together on air as far back as when I was a toddler. (I'm 35)

She's been on the news as far back as I can remember (I'm 30).

I remember watching these folks when I first moved up here years ago. I don't watch much local news anymore except for the morning stuff -- and I don't even watch that as much as I used to. I liked Debbie as a newscaster and wish here many happy years in whatever she chooses to pursue.
