Goshen area indoor ranges?

Gotta go to Goshen Wednesday and will have some downtime wednesday evening. I have new sights on my 22/45 that need adjusted so I could use some range time. Any suggestions? Or am I stuck until I get back to Indy?

Might also be swinging through Ft Wayne as well, so a slight detour isnt out of the question.

Checked out Shoot to thrill tonight. VERY nice facility. There was only one other person there, and he was alone in the range when I arrived.

I was escorted back and shown the cool electronic target runner. Awesome tour I thought at first... Then my guide didnt go away.

Not exactly thrilled with having my own personal RO standing behind me watching me like a hawk (he was leaning against the back wall) but overall I liked the facility.

I'm not sure I would like that. I've never gone to an indoor range but do they all do that? We have coupons for Midwest because they give us one everytime we buy a gun at the Mishawaka store, but we've never gone since we have our own range at home.

I am a VIP member at Midwest in Elkhart. They are very nice there. They do not hassle you unless you are doing something unsafe.

I can take guest with me if any INGOers are interested in going sometime. Next time you are in town Cameramonkey let me know and I will try to make sure I'm in town.

Glad to hear you had a good experience there! I actually haven't been there myself yet, but I want to go. I think they have an RO whenever someone is in the range, so maybe there was no one else to watch? IDK, still seems a bit weird, but glad the trip was good overall.

We've had them hangout with us a little when we've rented machine guns but they've usually just watched for a magazine or 2 to see if we can handle the guns safely, then they go back into the front of the store. One decided to hangout with us a bit longer because he hadn't had a chance to shoot that particular machine gun yet and was impressed with how smooth and quiet it was, it was an MP5SD.

Thanks for the kind words Cameramonkey will be sure to pass them to Greg, the owner. I work at STT as my for fun second job and it truly is a nice facility. It's true we do always have an RSO in the range whenever anyone is in there. They won't impede your shooting unless like mentioned doing anything unsafe, it's just a sign of the fact STT takes professionalism, cleanliness and safety seriously at all times. Swing in and check out the place if you are in the area again check it out guys, there really isn't a better filtration system built in Indiana when it comes to air quality.
