Been carrying a SIG P239 .40S&W since last July. Loved that handgun, but it was fat and weighed in at 30oz unloaded.

Went on down to Elmore's and traded in for a SIG P232 .380 ACP Two Tone with SIG Lite night sights. This baby weights in at 17oz and only 1.3" wide. Put 50 rounds through it at Pop's today as well. Very accurate just shooting 95gr American Eagle at 20ft.

Compared this to the Ruger SR9c, LCP, LC9 and other handguns they had there. The SIG fits very well, no safety, SA/DA, decocker, snag free and (most importantly ;) ) this pistol is sexy.

Very nice Sig. I too picked up a new CCW, a gently used S&W CS45 with 4 mags. I was customer #1 at Whittakers at 8:02 a.m. :)

Already ordered some Big Dog slim textured grips.

A gun that small, I would carry in a suede leather left hand clip holster. Smooth side in, rough side out, carried at 11 O clock. You can unclip it, and toss it in the pocket, cargo pants, clip it onto the sunvisor etc.

Because my real gun would be at 1:30. :)

That is a very nice gun. Just don't forget that you have given up a lot in both effectiveness and capacity, and you may need to alter your mindset and tactics accordingly.

I carry mine in a Milt Sparks VM-II. It is well worth the wait to order one.

The p232 is a nice, slim little gun that conceals very well. I hope you enjoy yours.

Nice looking pistols there. I don't know about you, but to me, thats too much size and weight for only having .380 firepower. I pocket carry a P3AT, and IWB a full size.
