Gotta love supply and demand economics. People who do not have what they need before all this happened now have to pay huge bucks. Best to wait till everything calms down and then buy. May take a long time, but, it depends on future shooting crimes plus the upcoming 2014 election. This Democrat effort to diminish the 2nd Amendment may backfire in 2014 and lets hope it does. If they get the house in 2014 and they already have the SC, it's scary.

IT will die down. It is just not the 500. It is everywhere. I was in AR last week in the Academy Sporting Goods store and ALL of their ammo was gone except for shotgun. I got the last 2 boxes of 223. Good news was they didn't raise their price to the consumer.

Indeed! I saw a Ruger BX-25 mag that sells for about $30 asking... $70-80 bucks! I walked away shaking my head and chuckling
