Granddaughter Breaking 1st horse

Pretty proud of my granddaughter.. she started last fall and spring with ground work and with the other horse projects we’ve been working on we just got back to him.. she’s really excited about this being her horse..!

Thanks. She’s like her Mamaw.. certified horse nut. They all head to the barn and ride together.. it was a great day yesterday for family to come over and relax after work.
My other granddaughter was riding around in the background. They were at a horse show last weekend and the youngest was bumped up into a older group of kids and placed in the the top 3.. judges didn’t know she was the one that had been moved up in an older kids bracket.. very proud of her too

Both really. He’s one of our rescue horses and he is such a big baby and smart. Works well around the kids we work with.( some special needs kids and emotional issues). So he’s going to be one of our program horses. He’s got wheels and loves to run. So far it’s just been in the round pen. Moving to the arena next week
