Anyone care for a Grass Pron redux at this dry time?
Here is a Turf Tips posting on information about the drought and what to do with your lawns. I encourage you to read this timely and helpful information. Also, why not subscribe to Turf Tips like I do?
I got a card in a magazine recently for zoysia grass. I kicked around the idea of ordering a few plugs, but thought I'd ask here if anyone has it in their yard. My mom tried to plant plugs at their house, but it didn't take very well. I'm not sure if they didn't plant enough or if the soil didn't jive with the grass. The issue I have with my yard is a lot of shade. I have put down a few bags of tall fescue the last couple of years, but most of what I put down last year didn't take due to the drought. From the little reading I have done it seems like this probably isn't the best thing for a yard in Indiana.
