Yep, they violated the first rule of writing: Show, don't tell. When they interrupted the movie halfway through to have the characters lay some more exposition on us (in a movie where there had already been about 10 minutes of exposition already), my eyes rolled back in my head and attempted to throttle my brain with their optic nerves.1 to 10 ...I'd rate it 5 or 6 .

I'll probably rent it on Blu Ray, that way if I hate it I can go do something else and he can watch it.

I took my kids to see it last week and we all thought it was pretty decent. I try not to over analyze movies, it's just entertainment.
