GSG 5 .22

I heard today the GSG 5 .22 is no longer being made. I like the GSG and considering buying one before its to late. Is this true anyone else herd this? Should i buy now or wait?

The GSG5 is no longer being produced for sale in the U.S. after the manufacturer lost a copyright lawsuit with HK. You should still be able to get parts, though. New ones are getting scarce. There are a few LNIB ones in the INGO classifieds.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a much more expensive HK version in the next 12 months.

GSG was found guilty for Patent Plagiarism, or whatever the legal phrase is. To the HK. Basically the parts are almost 100% interchangeable. You can still buy them (even on sale here on INGO) They just haven't been shipped to the U.S. since Oct 10ish.

I have one and love it. Only bad thing is mags are ridiculous. I tried to order from a bunch of dif places and everyone is backordered. If you have a chance get one.
