So I found an expired Jif container in the back of the pantry yesturday and what do you do with one of those? Well you take it outside and have fun with your favorite .22 that's what! Little chilly today but not enough to stop my fun before work!! Gsg 1911 is pure fun guys and gals, and cheap to shoot. Wow. Here's a few pics, I can't wait to finish it off! :D

My great aunt had a jar of peanut butter that was so old it had changed color and she was still eating it. She died of something else many years later. Peanut butter never expires. Empirical evidence right there.:rockwoot:

Have the GSG 22lr 1911's pretty much won the battle for the 22lr 1911's? I've thought about buying the exact model that you've got there and it seems like a real nice gun.

I have been tempted. They are not that spendy and cheap to shoot. The threaded barrel would make me nuts. I would want to fill it. Do not want to jump those hurdles.

They are nice guns. I have had one for about a year now and really like it. I also have a Walther P22. In all honesty, in my case anyways, the Walther P22 makes a better suppressor host, but both are adequate. It is easy to modify the GSG with 1911 parts. I use mine to practice with. I just put a flat mainspring housing on it to give it the same basic profile as my Springfield Lightweight Operator.

I flat out love mine! I'm up to around 700 through it already, now that I have 3 mags it's easy to go through a 100 or more in a short amount of time! It's just like shooting a 45 1911 with less recoil and less cost to shoot. I still love my 45's of course but the GSG is a blast!!
