I will not go back there. Treated badly/poorly the first time I stepped in there. No axe to grind and ymmv.

Bummer, I have had nothing but positive experience(s) there. I need to go back to pickup a revolver I left for evaluation. I like the indoor range at Point Blank in Carmel better. They have distance marked and it's a bit closer to home too.

What? how can they have a competition there? Dont they ban drawing from the holster?

I too dont think I'll be going up there anytime soon either. From the sound of it the lawyers/liability insurance had too much of a hand writing the safety policy. No thanks. I'll stick to NHT3's smiling face at Parabellum.

Now it all makes sense... googling a bit I found this nugget.

Doesn't matter in GSSF. The holster is only used for carry from place to place, you do not draw under the clock. All stages are started gun in hand.

Tims is a nice facility, but their ammo policy stinks. I don't understand why they forbid lead bullets. They have a great ventilation system... Now that the carmel range is open I'll be going there instead. No such policies exist at point blank..
