When did indiana start with licensing of body guards and security guards

Over 30 years ago when I worked part time security the company had to be licensed and the employees were covered under it. So it's a lot like me, been around for awhile.

Individuals are not licensed for security in Indiana as far as I am aware.

The company has to have a license to operat as a SG Company. but to the best of my recollection teh SG must be licensed to carry. All of the Security Guards at my office are licensed by the state to carry their firearms. State law does not exempt iSG from the licensing requirement only Police officers, Sheriffs or their deputies, Law enforcement officers and Correctional officers. (IC 35-47-2-4)

I imagine the license they are referring to is a LTCH.

That is the licensing requirements and fee schedule for an incorporated company providing those services on demand.

Their employees work under the umbrella of the company license.
