I like to look at those auctions, but they always end up selling most of firearms at retail or above, especially since Christy's includes both local and internet buyers.

Especially if you buy by proxy & add in 25% more for buyers fee and IN sales tax.

I have been to 2 gun auctions in the past 6 months and both of them were way above retail. The last one was about 2 months ago. After the 3rd gun went up for auction I left.

Their auctions haven't been worth going to ever since they added Proxibid!
Besides that they add on a buyers premium and tax.
