There's Wilbur wright range, which is a DNR site up in new castle, and high smiths in greenfield has an indoor range that allows pistols, or .22 rifles, as well as an archery range.

WW is free, has a 25 yard pistol/rifle range, a skeet shooting area, and a covered six lane 50 yard range. WW is open 8-5 Tuesday through Sunday. Closed Monday and Tuesday. Open Monday's if it's a holiday. Open caliber up to .50 if I remember correctly.

Highsmiths is a fee based range. Ten lanes, up to about 50 feet deep. $36/hour; $18/ 1/2 hour rental. They do have some ammo, and rentals on site. They also have a yearly fee, which is good if you go more than once a month. Open 7 days a week, 10-7 everyday.

I know there are others near Hancock county, but these are the two I know of the best.

    Hope this helps.

Very helpful thanks. I was visiting in Pittsburg and got to shoot at a clube that had pistol ranges, rifle ranges, bow ranges and then indoor ranges too. They also had a bar and poolhall. It seemed like a really cool club. Any of these around?

Fall Creek Valley Conservation Club would not be too far from you. I'm a member there. It has a very nice range, and has a reasonably priced membership.

Ok, I have been corrected, the prices are as listed by Tyler....where I got my info is beyond me. I just have misread the flyer I had when I purchased my year membership. Anywho....still a great place to shoot.
