What’s the NRA doing? Whispering in Trumps ear to order the DOJ to make pistol braces NFA items like they did bumpfire stocks?

To my knowledge a pistol brace has never been used in a mass shooting.

We need to outlaw them quick.

Reciprocity Act will really save lives if every state has truly implemented it AND one more step needs to be taken....

Downtown high visibility area. They were most likely patrolling the area. Not to take anything away from them. They did good.

It is most likely not that good of response time where my aunt lives in a quiet neighborhood on the outskirts.

To be fair, Dayton police responded in an impressive 24-30 seconds.

Probably luck they 5 cops happened to be within a few seconds of the place where there was a random mass shooting, to be able to engage the shooter and take him out that quickly.

We've had "Red Flag" law here in Indiana since 2005.

While im against all infringements on our 2a rights,
I am glad this past legislative session more protections were awarded gun owners from abuse of this law at least.

I'd like to hear more about these protections. Do they involve a warrant and a judge or do officers on the scene make the confiscation decision?

I wondered about this as I heard Lindsay Graham's explanation of his bill (co-signed by a staunch anti-gunner) which sounds as if the grant money would be based on strict following of due process?
