Oh, the interesting things you find when you go looking to see if a good man's name has been cleared.

    https://www.wthr.com/article/greenfield-father-arrested-for-bringing-gun-on-school-property

There's this pending case with charges of criminal confinement and domestic battery. (charges are not a conviction)

There's this- a plea to invasion of privacy:

    and this:

Here's the case that started this topic- he pled guilty:

Brought a gun to son's school, but not paying child support?

I'm no expert, but doesn't seem like a great candidate for a pardon. Governor Pence only granted 3 pardons in total. This was not one of them.

I have done pardons (under Daniels). I agree with this assessment.

Remember, just because he is carrying a gun does not automatically make him a flag-bearer for the gun culture.

Oddly, I know many people who have carried guns who INGO would not agree with their current or past behaviors.

Ensure we have the full story before we stand behind them.

Which brings us to the next item.

Since the law was changed to allow you to have a gun on school property if out of sight and locked. Was the previous law burdensome (or unduly unreasonable) to those who want to protect themselves as per the 2nd amendment and the Indiana Constitution? Obviously yes. Guess you need not reply.

I just read this thread, and the one posted in #20 by eldirector. In the latter thread, someone mentioned the "rolling school gfz zone". I am a little confused about the rolling or floating school gun zone, I thought that was eliminated. I googled it and came up with nothing as it relates in Indiana. Please enlighten me how the rolling or floating school zone applies in these two situations while CC a handgun.

You are in a town or city park, walking on a walking trail, at 4 pm. The local high school uses one of the ball diamonds for ball games. (I am sure there is no financial arragement between the school and the town, it is just allowed.) A school bus pulls up to one of the baseball diamonds and unloads players for an upcoming game, are between two schools. Are you now in violation of the law by just being in the park?

The same park, same walking trail in July at 6 am, you are walking on the trail and you now are sharing the trail with the local school cross country team as it is having practice, it this now too a no no?

I would appreciate any input. Thanks in advance.
