Gun Prices?

Has anyone noticed the prices on firearms spiking again since President Hussein's speech last night? I haven't heard anything about it on the news. I'm going to the gun show in Valpo this weekend. I'm sure it will be packed.

Not sure why they would. He didn't bring anything new to the table, did he? And the Repubs are just as sure today as they were yesterday that they'll shoot down this ridiculousness. Just my 2¢...

As I mentioned in another post...all Obama said was, "Bring it to me, and I'll sign it" and we all KNOW there will be NOTHING regarding "assault" weapons or magazine capacities for him to sign.

We hope there will be no legislation dealing with assault weapons or magazine capacities for him to sign. We all wait with bated breath for our new-found socialist government to take away from us the fundamental rights which the Founding Fathers of this country intended for us to have and hold always.

He has put into law every single thing he has wanted to the first four years, to think that the weapons ban wont happen is silly. Health care was rammed through, and even the liberals didnt want it, they had to bribe bart stupak rememeber? and many other democrats were bribed for their vote. It doesnt matter, it will happen, its just a matter of when he decides to do it. He admits he will go around congress if they wont act, and he has done it many times already. if a judge says its not constitutional(obamacare) he ignores it and keeps doing what he wants. No one in gov't will stand up to him, how can we think it wont happen?

I agree that some kind of limits are going to be rammed through. The democrates will declare victory and the republicans will declare victory that it could have been worse if they had not held the democrates back. Win win for congress***

There are only so many ways he can go around congress, many of them ineffective. And Obamacare went through when he controlled both houses of Congress. He doesn't have the power to ram anything through anymore.

It doesn't mean let down your guard or stop putting pressure on your representatives, but we are in pretty good shape until the 2014 mid-term elections.

The ban on AR's and high cap mags is not going to be passed in my opinion. Universal background checks for all sells may make it through. And it's not President Hussein in his mind, it's KING HUSSEIN. As for gun prices, just ride this out. After the tax checks run out and light bills are due you'll be seeing lots of stuff on the market for good prices. Supply and demand works both ways. Supply will go up and demand will go down. Thus, a buyers market sometime in the future.

I'd rather prepare for the worst with this guy, if anyone would of told me 5 yrs ago that we'd be talking about this, i would've said you were nuts, it's like he's a jedi knight, [waves hand in front of the people] "economy is fine, $16 trillion is normal, guns are bad!!!". I can't exhale until november 3, 2016, maybe!
