gun reliability problems?

i found a video today on youtube about the reliability of a gun without the magazine, im not sure if all semi-automatic pistols have this problem, if you have had any experiences like this please post. here is the video.

Really resisting the urge to take a cheap shot at Glock..........

But to keep it on the strait and level I will say that ive done this a lot with my M&P and have never had a problem. I have also done it a lot on my S&W 422 with no problem. Not saying S&Ws don't do this but ive never experienced it. Maybe im just doing it wrong. I like the technique as it prevents my trigger finger from itching and touching off the whole mag.........
