    Some interesting research showing that the American public is fairly evenly split. Recently, however, the trend appears to be gun control folks decreasing and gun rights folks increasing. The article contains an interesting graphic. Just keep in mind that it is from Pew -- an organization claiming to be neutral, but which, in my experience, tends to be quite liberal.

    IMHO, those who prefer gun control have never handled a gun. Never fired one. Do not understand them. Are brainwashed by the liberal media and cannot really think for themselves. They are people who see a gun and freak out because they are uneducated. They do not know that a gun cannot go off by itself. If they were educated about firearms, I think they would change their tune.
