Gun safe lighting.

Finally got around to lighting my safe. And did it for less than $25 bucks.

I used a couple of these in my safe...LED Under-Cabinet Light
Light head swivels. Runs on AA batteries & adheres to surface with sticky-back velcro.

Just strung led rope lights behind door frame and hooked up to a cheap wireless remote like Walmart has for Christmas lights. Oh and held them in place with Velcro.

I like that setup. It's a pain holding a flashlight to see inside the safe and get something out or whatever. I'll have to get some of these.

It's plugged in. Had to cut an extension cord and run it through a hole in the back of the safe, then splice it back together.

Lit well enough for "in the dark" access. Sorry for sideways pic. Computer wouldn't rotate it. Grrr!

Lighting options are betting better, Why do all the Safe manufactures make the walls of the Safes so dark, Even when you put light in the walls and the textured shelves eat the light,

If they made everything white enameled at least the light would bounce around a little,

I know oil from guns, but not really an few stains on the shelves and it would be over,

Looks good. My rope lights just died, so I picked up 12' of white LED Xmas lights for $5. Work great as long as they are kept behind door frame.

I used a rope light in mine and tucked it in the edges all around the door and put a timer on. I call it my night light. Lol
