    +5 for Johnson Safe.

He is based out of Zionsville/Whitestown and is super easy to deal with. Hubby went to school with his kids.

We bought a huge safe from him about 5 years ago. $1400. It's 900 lbs and rated to 2700 degrees on burn temps. It's been a quality piece and he was great to deal with.

    Icarry2,

I like the link but I don't quite understand how they are rating things.

Only the AmSec's are TL-15 and TL-30 rated. None of the other safes on the list are rated that high and yet the AmSec's are below those more vulnerable to attack...?:dunno:

It also doesn't even list Brown (not "Browning") safes. Brown safes that I referred to in an earlier post are excellent products and they have many TL-15 and TL-30.

Note by this link Brown safes have at least six (6) models that are TL-30 Rated:

    Commercial Safes

I do not understand how they put their ratings together unless they were simply trying to show the "most bang for the buck." I am cool with that but it doesn't put the function of a safe (ie. keeping unauthorized people out) as the top priority.

    Regards,

    Doug
