Gun show in South Bend

At the Century Center. Used to be 2 a year there. Moved to Laporte for '10. Made SJC fairgrounds show look good, although their last winter one was improved. Nov. 26-27(Yes, same dates as Ft. Wayne).

Same size it used to be. A lot of non-firearms stuff. Little ammo and no reloading gear.

Thanks for the report. I was debating on whether to go to FW or SB. FW is a bit further but sounds like not much of a draw in SB.

There were more people at my range yesterday than at the show. We were so bored!

Back about 15 years ago, if my memory serves correctly, that was a pretty good show, at least from an attendance standpoint.

What a waist of time. I saw a few things I was interested in but could not even get one dealer to negotiate with me. I saw a lot of the same dealers that were at the fair grounds show, and they still have the same stuff ont there tables that they had back then. Don't they ever want to sell anything??? I guess I'll just keep spending my money at Midwest Guns.

I didn't see any difference than the fairgrounds shows. At least ZX Guns in Goshen does the fairgrounds. Not a dealer there that I saw. Some new vendors there though. I'll go back for it (and the fairgrounds, Shipshe, Napannee, the 1500...).

Got MRE's for $45 per case though. Liked that deal. He had 6 left so me and my buddy got a couple each. Left 2 for others. Only had one B meal case so I got 2 a meals.

Left and went to Midwest. Got the 9mm ammo on sale there. Then to Granger guns for a scope riser.

Home in time for college football games. Kind of a shame, really.

There was one table with a fantastic collection of old Smith's, Colt's, and Hi Standards. Lots of nice stuff.
