    For background checks to be at a decade low, they would have had to fall off a cliff. I'll be interested to see how long before the authors are busted for LSD possession. The stock market has been acting stupid lately, and it's hard to nail some of it to anything, so maybe they're grabbing at straws. I think it might be about to crash.

    They are measuring percent decline, not the decline in the number of checks. Their poorly written article has the percent decline in handgun and long gun checks down at a rate greater than the 10 year average.
