    Any recommendations for inexpensive but good quality vise that I can work on my ar15's? What size and features do you look for in a vise?

    Never mind. You said vise, not vice. I was going to recommend going with a gunsmith who smokes in preference to a drunk.

    yea...looking for something inexpensive that I can work on ar15's with, won't be hammering on it or anything.

    OP, For your use a Harbor Freight vise will do fine. I'd go with at least a 4 inch. 6 inch would be better. If you were doing heavy duty stuff a nicer vice would be better. But you aren't going to break a HF vise with normal use. Lowes has some great vise's too.
