gunsmiths who do hot blueing

i am in fort wayne and would like suggestions of gunsmiths in the area who do a good job on reblueing , hve several old "military rifles " would like to have reblued thanks dam7

What kind of "old military rifles" do you have? I ask because blueing is not a common finish on lots of military rifles. It certainly has been used, but re-blueing could destroy the collectibility of the blued rifles that come to mind.

Are you sure you don't want to get them re-parkerized?

rifles i buy are not collector quality ... i try to get shooters and
pretty em up a bit for my self

sorry to hear about mr schwarz when i last saw him early spring he was in very poor health .... he did have a basement full of rifles
wonder if every one will get theirs back

I haven't used them personally so I can't speak to their quality but there is a new outfit in Huntington that told me they do hot blueing. I've got a few shotgun barrels I'm likely going to have them do to see what they got. They're right downtown, 1776 Sporting Club is their business name. 260-760-5388, might be worth a quick call.
