Gutridge Gunsmith in Griffith

Anyone familiar with Gutridge gunsmith in Griffith, IN? Thinking of letting him install my Mep sights on my M&P 40.

never had any bad dealings with him. hopefully it's an over the counter fix, as he's got a back log of about 11 months.

Eric is a decent gunsmith. He is ALWAYS backlogged and its common for him to have a 6 to 12 month wait. I've always had good dealings with him, others have differing opinions.

My brother in law has had several different things done by him, and is always happy with the results. He has a long wait time, but if that is not a concern, he does good work from what I have seen.

Just got an email from Mr. Gutridge. Says he will install my night sights in the morning, in about 20 minutes, while I wait. His fee is $40 cash, he doesn't do credit. Thanks for the help, gentlemen.

Just wanted to follow up. Took .40 to Gutridge's shop last Monday and he installed the sights while I waited. It took about :20 and then we shot the breeze for another :15. Good guy. Did a fine job. Ordered a set of Trijicon night sights for a Shield 9mm that I picked up today at the Crown Point gun show. When they come in I will ask him to install these, too.

Had him drill and tap and install a scope base for me a long time ago. Other than the wait, he did a good job.
