H&R extractor/ejector question

Is there a way to make a gun with the extractor into an ejector?

While hunting I can't get ahold of the shell with my gloves. If I can convert my gun to an ejector I can get a shot at the second deer. This has cost me a second deer several times.

When you open the gun, rock it back and stop abruptly and the shell should clear. That's what I do on my over/ under.
